This is the first song that I ever wrote. It was years before I knew that I would be writing worship songs. One night I was reading the scriptures before bedtime. I was in Psalms. When I read the opening verses of Psalm 47, I started singing them in my head.

As I read further into the Psalm, the chorus settled itself, and then verses began presenting themselves. I ran downstairs to my keyboard and computer and began to frantically record what was in my head. The whole thing was over in less than 2 hours.

I think this song has a strong Hosanna! feel to it. Thatís not surprising considering when I wrote it, Hosanna! was all that I was listening to (it was all I had discovered at the time.)

Iíve not gone any further with this song that the initial demo recording, but if it speaks to someone, let me know. I would love to hear someoneís arrangement of this song.
